After living in our house unchanged for approximately 20 years combined with a disastrous water leak that occurred in our kitchen and laundry room areas, Becky and I decided it was time to remodel the entire first floor of our home.

Our plans were to address the popcorn ceiling, redo the flooring, paint throughout, and completely update the kitchen and bathroom areas. We then interviewed a select group of local firms and decided upon A P Advanced Construction. This was primarily because of their unique ability to put us at ease and to identify our needs while also watching our budget.

We immediately liked both Benny and Artur after we began discussing our plans. They were most helpful in guiding us along to determine exactly what we wanted and by giving us various options as to what we could update throughout the house. Debra, one of their primary contacts behind the scene, was also very helpful and kept us informed via telephone throughout the entire initial negotiation process.

Once we had decided upon what we wanted to have done, the day of demolition and reconstruction finally arrived. We were excited and anxious to get started. AP’s superintendent named Eric led the team performing the actual work. He was informative and responsive throughout the process and led the remodeling like only a true expert can do.

A hulk of a man named Simon led the day to day on site remodeling. He and his talented crew (Leo, Albert, Paul, and George) were possibly the best part of the process in that they are the ones that made our dream a reality. They performed their duties admirably and the final product is truly a beauty to behold! They also arrived each on time each day, cleaned up daily, and made sure everything was exactly as we wanted before they departed for the day.

Needless to say, we are extremely happy with our “new” home! Because we did not move out and stayed in our home throughout the construction process, we were unable to truly appreciate the transformation until we traveled to our property in Tennessee for a short break and returned to Jacksonville. It was like we were in a different house!

Let me finish by simply stating that A P Advanced Construction worked with us throughout the entire process to ensure our expectations were fully met. Yes, there were a few minor bumps along the journey. What you must analyze and base your opinion upon is how does your contractor respond to those issues and are you happy with the end result. In that regard, A P Advance shines like a star! In short, it was a great experience and a job well done!

We just wrapped up a remodel by AP and are very pleased with the end result. The staff is amazing and they were very attentive to my input and preferences. When I wasn’t happy with something they fixed it. They were patient and responded quickly to every text, phone call and email. Our remodel including gutting the kitchen, new flooring, paint and trim through most of the house, removing two walls and arches that dated the home. As with most big projects there were small issues that couldn’t be avoided. The only reason for 4 stars vs. 5 is that I was somewhat limited in the selections for certain finishes, but that was likely driven by our budget. Would use AP again!

About 2 years ago I chose AP to completely remodel my kitchen and put down about 2,000 sq.ft. of tile throughout the main living areas of my home.The kitchen remodel included new lighting, cabinets, an island, countertops, backsplash , and even modifying walls to open up the kitchen. The final product was beautiful and lived up to my expectations. During the process, I had total faith and confidence that Benny and Artur would fulfill their promises and they did. In May of 2022, my wife and I decided it was time to remodel two bathrooms and again put down approx. 600 sq .ft. of flooring tile. in our bedroom. My bathroom remodel included expanding the shower and adding a bench, frameless glass surround, shower niches, cabinets, countertop and lighting. My wife’s bathroom included lighting, tile, a soaker tub, new cabinet and countertop and a tile surround around the tub. Once again, AP did a job that came out beautifully and met my expectations. At my age , I’ve learned that no construction job is flawless and linear but I’ve also found that Benny and Artur are reliable, honest, and easy to work with, I highly recommend them for any remodeling job.

My husband and I had just purchased a new home with the intent of converting two smaller secondary bedrooms into one large bedroom, expanding the bathroom, replacing the tub/shower with a roll in shower, changing the vanity to an ADA compliant sink, swapping out the wall to wall carpet for laminate flooring and widening the doorways. The end result was to be a luxurious wheelchair friendly suite for my mother. We contacted multiple contractors, including AP Advanced Construction, to get cost estimates and timelines. Artur was the only one out of all the companies to provide us with an immediate estimate for the job. Not only was the price in the ballpark of what I was thinking, but he also said they could start the following week. This was a major plus because we could not move into our beautiful new home until the area was completed for my mother who is a paraplegic.

The project got underway on time and finished within the quoted time period. Artur and his team were easy to work with, professional, and always available to answer any questions we had. I would have no reservations about recommending AP Advanced Construction to anyone. We will be calling on them again in the future to re-do our master bath and kitchen!

AP Advanced construction company did a great job on our remodel of our home. From the first meeting, to signing contract, coordinated meetings for designing, picking out all products for our kitchen and two baths were seamless. We had access to the whole team from designing, ordering, logistics of scheduled deliveries of materials and the supervisor for our project. We had full communication during the entire process by call with quick response. The timeline was meet and actually would have been 3 weeks earlier but a cabinet color issue when delivered for install had to be reordered. Still meet deadline. This is the third project from them on several properties and all went the same, seamless, on time and correct. Anything that needed addressing was completed and walk through punch list and warranty periods all done timely. I had several quotes for all our remodels and honesty, integrity and completion times is vital to us and why weve used AP Advanced for all 3 times. So like anything these days its even more important and you you get what you pay for. In this company it was what we have come to expect over the years. I would highly recommend and refer their services for any project you may have whether small or large. We have gotten nothing but praise on our remodel from friends and family and a lot of I cant believe they did all this in our timeline Many would tell of nightmares of contractors dragging way past timelines, downtimes when they started until returning, not seeing progress, no communication, to shabby work, workers and lack of help to get done timely.

I worked primarily with Keith as the consultant and designer and person who oversaw the projects. He was great to work with, knew his info, made great suggestions, came to the house often to check on the progress of the projects. We built a great rapport. I also worked with Gerard and his work crew which were multiple teams such as electricians, plumbers, cabinet, counter, and tile workers. He was amazing the way he kept things organized with multiple jobs staying on top of things keeping the projects moving. All the workers put in plenty of hours, were courteous, cleaned up and generally went the extra mile on my projects. I appreciated the hard work attention to detail and how both projects turned out. From the beginning the professional standards started shining and never ended. From picking the materials to the gentleman that did the work were excellent to work with. After several estimates on remodeling my bathroom I visited the showroom of AP Advanced Construction Inc. I was greeted quickly and actually met with the owner for creating a new bathroom in my home. I really liked the fact I didn’t have to go from place to place selecting tile and fixtures. The showroom has it all. We agreed on the final price and plan. The workers showed up when they said they would and even though I dreaded the mess they did their best to minimize the dust and debris. We had a hick up or two but nothing the didn’t respond to. I’m very pleased with the quality and workmanship.

My Mom needed her old tub removed and replaced with a shower.They came out on time every visit, and were able to start sooner than planned. They explained everything every step of the way and gave suggestions on a few things that we did I not think of. Crew came in and did I what was needed and done ahead of schedule. Would recommend to anyone!! Very satisfied with the end results.

We selected AP Advance when we first started looking to remodel our master bathroom. It was a real turn key operation where you make all your selections there in the showroom. I enjoyed meeting all the skilled contstruction workers and especially Debra in the showroom. She fields all the calls and gets things done! Would use them again! The bathroom looks great!

We used AP Advanced to remodel our master bath. We were happy with the finished job and highly recommend them. Some highlights:
We entered this process with a general footprint of what we wanted. The combination of Benny, their designers plus the showroom, helped us to make design / aesthetic choices that resulted in an elegant, functional new master bath.
Simon and his crew did the work from demolition through final details. Simon has over 20 years of experience in remodeling. The workmanship is excellent, his tile guy is an “artist”, the rest of his crew are detail-oriented building professionals. They are good folk and we enjoyed having them work in our home.
Throughout the process the crew took steps to protect our home from the unavoidable construction dust and dirt. This included a covered walking path from the garage door to the work-area and covering all furniture and surfaces in the master bedroom during demolition and early-stage (pre-tile) construction. They even sealed off the bathroom and took construction debris through the bathroom window to minimize dust in the master bedroom.
We contracted on 3/31, construction started 6/1, and finished on 7/3. Simon’s crew was in our home for 7 days during this time, 6 days at the start – demo through cabinet installation plus a day to finish the details after the countertops were installed. Overall an efficient process. (Countertops require a measurement after cabinets are in place, and take 10-14 days to acquire, similar for shower glass)
AP Advanced has back-office people to manage the purchasing and logistics to offer a turn-key service on a remodel job. When questions or issues arose, the were responsive. Overall—AP Advanced Construction is an excellent choice for a remodel.

I’m very pleased with the outcome of my remodel. They took out the old garden tub and made my shower bigger and more open with beautiful frameless glass. New flooring, vanities etc. The guys were very polite and professional. Cleaned up every day after work.

My wife recently underwent hip replacement surgery which rendered the jacuzzi in our bathroom obsolete and inaccessible. The Christmas holidays were approaching with expected house guests. It was therefore critical that the bathroom remodeling be completed within a scheduled timeframe. AP Advanced Construction representative met with us, presented a very creative remodeling plan at a very reasonable price and promised project completion consistent with our needs.

AP’s performance was outstanding. They completed the project as promised. Our “new” bathroom was available in time for our visitors, adding immeasurably to the quality of our holidays.

All of AP’s workers were competent, professional and personable. We were very impressed that they took great pains to respect our home and our privacy. They just finished my master bathroom remodel and it came out great! They were very accommodating and if I pointed anything out or made changes they took care of it quickly. Finally have a bathroom vanity that looks beautiful. We were replacing a vanity and cabinet in our master bath that was the original from1987. The remake was everything we wanted.. We are very happy with the bath to shower conversion completed by AP Advanced Construction and would hire them again. We had a great experience with AP advanced. From initial visit to completion in less than a month, for a complete bathroom/shower renovation. They were completely professional, and were comparable with other quotes we received. We paid for labor only and purchased our own vanity, shower accessories, bathtub, tile, grout, etc. We knew what we wanted and got what we needed ourselves. Therefore we cut out all the misunderstandings that can ruin a project, and add time. They were flexible and we negotiated with office management to create a working relationship. AP Advanced was excellent and clean up was adequate. After a bad experience with another contractor on a previous remodeling job, this was a smooth and welcome relief.

We recently decided to replace the bath & make the shower a little bigger in our master bathroom. What we got was so beyond what we had pictured in our minds eye. Its beautiful & so much more!!! Everyone at AP, from people in Sales, to our Project Manager, who helped us with changes, tile worker who is an artist with tile, to everyone in between who carried buckets & installed the new countertop. AP Advanced was thorough and professional. They did what they said they were going to do, in a timely fashion. Their installers were excellent. Would use them again. Bathroom remodels are often dusty and dirty, but they did their best to clean up as they went. Had very good support from the office staff as well as the contractors.

I have not actually had a project done, but have been in the showroom several times. Each time I was met with the utmost professionalism and my designer took as much time as needed with me. I felt as though I had their full attention and they did not make me feel rushed.

I hired AP Advanced Construction for a complete bathroom remodel. I was very pleased with the job they did for me. Tge job ran pretty much as scheduled and the workmanship was excellent.

We had had our master bathroom remodeled. We had our garden tub removed. We had new shower wall and floor tiles installed. We also had new vanities, sinks and faucets. Our lined closer was enlarged! Great workers!

We reviewed a number of construction companies and choose AP Advanced Construction. Very impressed with the showroom and the professional staff. We had 5 bathrooms to complete and the workers were very good craftsman and good to work with.
This was a big project and we had a good team to communicate with on every detail. They kept us informed every step of the process and we had others to lean on if necessary. Even the President/Owner of the company was involved. They wanted to make sure that all of the details were completed and communicated. A good group to work with, glad we choose them.

Our job was fairly small. We had a bathroom that was only five years old, needing to meet ADA standards. We had to remove the garden tub so we could extend the shower to the required dimensions. Plus, we wanted to add bars, fixtures, a bench, and a larger door that swings open. Then, we wanted to turn the remaining garden tub area into a sit-down vanity by extending the sink countertop. Since we already had tile that matched the existing floor tile, they only needed to fill in the remaining tub area not covered by the extended shower. As we always do, we had three companies come out for estimates. One ghosted us as soon as they realized the size of the job, and the second ghosted us after we declined their first proposal which clearly demonstrated that they wanted to do much more remodeling than we had requested. AP Advanced Construction Inc was the only company that made meeting our needs a priority over making each of their jobs most profitable. Our journey began with Artur. He came out for the estimate, drew up the proposal, and assisted us with choosing tiles and fixtures. He also humored us with contract modifications/updates so that details were noted as required for the grant we were using. When the job was about to begin, we met Gerrard which would be overseeing our remodel. From that point forward, our communication was with him and whether it was scheduling workers or handling hiccups, he was on the ball, and we knew we were in good hands. The process from demolition to completion only took five weeks and we’ve been instructed to contact them if we find any issues. We are very pleased with our bathroom modification and would most certainly recommend them to others.

Did a complete remodel of my condo kitchen, including taking down part of a wall, removing and replacing cabinets, new sink, new countertops and backsplash. Great communication, quick turnaround and professional installation (i work from home and they always considerate of that fact). I highly recommend.

These guys had their work cut out for them even though this should have been a quick project. They put their all into it and I got a brand new corner from top to bottom. It’s awesome!! Will call them for future projects.

I walked into their store on San Jose Boulevard and spoke with Keith in sales. I asked if he could come to my home and look at a kitchen island in desperate need of replacement. Keith came by and told my wife and me that he had some ideas and that he’d present a proposal in a couple of days. He did and the installed price was acceptable.
Well, the cabinet and its fixtures were delivered a couple of week later and the installation took place in just one day about a week later.
WOW! What a difference that has made to our kitchen. Keith recommended a quartz countertop and we are so glad we took his advice. Our new kitchen island is spectacular.
Eddie the general operations manager organized a great couple of guys to do the installation, Josh and Cody.
The office kept me informed of the progress of the project via text and email and by telephone. Everybody was extremely polite and accessible.

I recently had my kitchen and guest bathroom remodeled by AP Advanced Construction. Throughout the entire process their staff was a pleasure to work with. Artur and Debra at the showroom were very helpful in the design process. They were able to answer all questions I had and any changes I wanted were made with ease. Benny and Eric kept me informed about when installers would at my house and what they would be doing. They also provided some helpful suggestions, like replacing the track lighting with can lights. The new lighting looks great and makes the kitchen much brighter. All of their installers were professional and I am very happy with the quality of their work. After researching four other kitchen and bath remodeling companies I found AP Advanced Construction to be transparent in description of the work to be performed, explanation of possible delays, and details of resolution should there be a slow down. They finished right on time. The caliber of the workmanship was superior not only in the teardown but, wall and floor tiles were set by a quality professional with years of experience with most construction projects, there is always dust and dirt. AP Advanced Construction was careful to minimize debris. Clean up when work was completed exceeded my expectation! Great job. In closing, if you are considering remodeling of a kitchen or bath and don’t know where to start, their showroom assistance was the main benefactor for me to move forward and elect AP Advanced Construction; they made it easy.

We love the renovations in our kitchen and master bathroom. The AP Advanced salesperson was an excellent listener and helped us to determine the styles and colors that nicely blended with our existing rooms. Based on his years of experience, he made many helpful recommendations that enhanced our original ideas. The quality of the materials and installation of the cabinets is beautiful. The workers responded quickly when we requested modifications or slight adjustments. Removing the wall between the living room and dining room has made the rooms appear larger and allows for the natural flow of conversations with family and friends.

My wife and I have lived in our home for 22 years without much updating so we decided to unify our flooring from rug, tile. wood in various rooms to tile throughout except bedrooms (1800 sq.ft). Additionally, we wanted to remodel our fairly large kitchen including tearing down soffits, adding recessed lighting, new appliances, the aforementioned tile and new cabinets and quartz counters. For us this was a big expensive undertaking. We got 3 quotes with AP Advanced being the last quote and the most competitive. But at this price point we needed to feel comfortable and confident in our contractor as we’ve had prior bad experiences . From the beginning Arturo and Benny provided that comfort level. Artur help us select the right components. He was patient, honest, and accessible. No matter how many times we changed our mind in the selection process, Artur always made us feel comfortable. Benny and I had a saying–”It’s got to work right, it’s got to look right” and Benny stood behind that saying 100%. There are always bumps in the road in construction and a couple of times Benny would visit and I say “does that look right” He said, “no it’s got to be better” and he proved true to his word. Our finished remodeling project is everything we expected and more. Benny said several times to me “ We’re in this for the long haul, we want you to be family”. And that’s the way we felt. AP Advanced proved that to us many times . I would recommend them without exception for any job.

Full kitchen and master bath remodel. Excellent team, excellent work. Only reason we were not on time was getting the flooring due to the supply chain issues we are all familiar with. Very responsive team. I would recommend them and use them again.

AP Advanced Construction recently did a great job installing a tile floor throughout the entire house I moved into. The workmanship is great and they really took the time to make sure it was done right. They were responsive to all my questions. They have also done great work for me a my previous house (tile floor, painting, ceiling texture, kitchen, and bathroom projects) and I’m looking forward to future projects with them.
